3 Easy Dessert Recipes for Your Darling

The saying "there's always room for dessert" cannot be more true. Just the sight of a delicious-looking dessert is enough to make your mouth water. There's also nothing like a homemade sweet treat, so if you're up for it, here are 3 easy dessert recipes you can try:

Berry Delicious

What you need:

    4 egg yolks
    4 egg whites
    2 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
    1 1/4 cup frozen raspberries
    1 cup cream cheese, softened
    1 cup frozen whipped topping, thawed
    1/2 cup butter, melted
    1/4 cup white sugar
    2 tablespoons white sugar
    1 1/4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
    1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
    1/8 teaspoon salt

Mix together graham cracker crumbs, butter, sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Press mixture into a 9x13-inch baking dish. Bake in a pre-heated oven (350 degrees F) for 5 minutes. Set aside to cool. Beat egg yolks in a bowl then add cream cheese. Beat together until smooth. In a separate bowl, beat together egg whites, cream of tartar and salt until foamy. Slowly add sugar. Scoop 1/3 of the egg white mixture and fold with the egg yolk mixture. Return new mixture to the bowl of remaining egg white mixture. Stir in whipped topping. Puree raspberries using a blender then press through a sieve. Pour half of the egg mixture into cooled crust then top with half of raspberries. Repeat with remaining egg mixture and raspberry puree. Refrigerate until firm.

Stained Glass Sweet Treat

What you need:

    2 eggs, beaten
    2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 1/2 cups rainbow-colored miniature marshmallows
    1 cup chopped pecans
    1/3 cup confectioner's sugar
    1/4 cup butter

Place chocolate chips and butter in a microwave-safe bowl then melt in the microwave. Add eggs, marshmallows and pecans to the bowl. Stir to combine ingredients well. Pour mixture in a 9x5-inch pan lined with foil. Dust with confectioner's sugar. Cover and refrigerate until firm. Slice into 1/4-inch slices before serving.

Easy White Lemon Pie

What you need:

    3 egg yolks
    3egg whites
    1 9-inch prepared graham cracker crust
    1 3/4 cup condensed milk
    1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
    5 teaspoons white sugar

Beat together egg yolks, condensed milk and lemon juice in a bowl. Pour mixture into prepared graham cracker crust. In a separate bowl, beat together egg whites and sugar then spread on top of the egg yolks mixture. Brown in a pre-heated broiler (500 degrees F) until set. Keep refrigerated.
