Sikkim is the beautiful state of Sikkim is one of the top 25 honeymoon destinations in India because of its snow covered mountain peaks, green valleys, enchanting flowers, lakes and beautiful monasteries. The Tashi view point provides the best view of Mount Kanchenjunga, the third highest peak in the world.

Honeymooners enjoy by indulging themselves in various activities like trekking, mountain climbing, Para gliding and river rafting. The Tsongmo Lake is an oval shaped lake and is the home for Brahminy ducks and various other migratory birds. It is believed to be sacred. The monasteries in Sikkim are also worth visiting.

The Nathu La Pass which lies on the Indo Chinese border and the Gurudongmar Lake which remains frozen during winter attract tourists. In the west part of Sikkim, people go on the Dzongri trek. March to August is the perfect time for couples to go to Sikkim.
