Benefit of herbal tea is that quite often the ingredients will have certain health benefits and so you can pick and choose which one to drink based on your current state of body and mind. Chamomile for example is known to help with sleep so could be a good one to drink before bed.
Peppermint tea is said to aid digestion to drink this one during or after a big meal to help settle your stomach.
Put the kettle on and brew up a lovely pot of loose leaf Peppermint tea and after 15 minutes or so you start to feel a little less bloated.
Tisanes are also brilliant because you can use them as an ingredient to add to other teas. For example, a rose tea might make a lovely addition to an old black tea that has lost its flavour.
